Terms & Conditions
Clear terms for using microsite to record, host, share, and manage client-ready links.
These Terms & Conditions explain how you may use Microsite, including the recording, upload, hosting, sharing, analytics, branding, and account features available through microsite.com.au and related Microsite pages. By accessing the service, creating an account, uploading material, publishing a link, or using a shared page, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Microsite lets users upload, record, edit, host, and share videos, files, hosted pages, profile pages, branded links, and related metadata. Some features are designed for public sharing, some are designed for private or password-protected sharing, and some are available only to signed-in account owners or paid plans.
The product may include tools for thumbnails, captions, transcripts, chapters, lead capture, comments, reactions, replies, emails, analytics, brand settings, team access, and generated help or summary content. These tools are provided to help you publish and manage your own material. You remain responsible for checking the accuracy, permissions, sensitivity, and suitability of anything you publish or send through Microsite.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email, account links, passwords, and devices secure. If you invite team members or allow another person to use your account, you are responsible for their actions within the service.
We may use login links, verification codes, cookies, local storage, and other security mechanisms to keep sessions working and protect uploaded content. We may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account has been compromised, is being abused, or is being used in a way that creates legal, operational, security, or reputational risk.
3. Your content and permissions
You keep ownership of the content you upload, record, or configure in Microsite. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, resize, transcode, analyse, email, cache, back up, and otherwise operate the service for that content. This includes creating thumbnails, video renditions, transcripts, share previews, link metadata, analytics events, and other derived assets needed to deliver Microsite features.
You confirm that you have all rights, licences, consents, and permissions needed to upload, process, publish, and share your content. This includes rights for video, audio, images, documents, names, likenesses, trademarks, personal information, confidential information, client material, music, software, and any third-party work included in your upload.
Public links may be indexed, screenshotted, reshared, archived, or accessed by anyone with the URL unless you use available privacy controls. Passwords, expiry settings, email gates, lead gates, or unlisted URLs reduce access but do not guarantee confidentiality. Do not upload sensitive, regulated, confidential, or high-risk material unless you are authorised to do so and accept the risks of online sharing.
4. Prohibited use
You must not use Microsite to upload, create, host, share, promote, or distribute material that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, malicious, or designed to harm people, systems, or networks.
You must not use Microsite to infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, contractual restrictions, or other rights of another person or organisation. You must not upload malware, phishing pages, credential collection pages, deceptive downloads, spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or content that impersonates another person, business, platform, or public authority.
You must not probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits, bypass access controls, interfere with analytics, manipulate usage events, send abusive requests, or attempt to access content, accounts, files, queues, systems, or data that you are not authorised to access.
5. Moderation, removals, and abuse reports
We may remove, disable, limit, quarantine, or refuse to process content if we believe it violates these terms, creates a security risk, may breach law or platform policy, receives a credible abuse report, exceeds technical limits, or may expose us, our users, infrastructure providers, payment providers, advertising providers, or the public to harm.
To report abuse, copyright concerns, privacy concerns, malware, impersonation, or unlawful content, email abuse@microsite.com.au with the share URL, your relationship to the content, and a short description of the issue. We may ask for more information before taking action, and we may preserve records where needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.
6. Plans, payments, and billing
Some features may be free, limited, paid, trial-based, promotional, usage-based, or available only on a specific plan. Plan limits may include file size, storage, retention, branding, team access, recording, editing, analytics, rendering, automation, or other feature boundaries.
Payments, subscriptions, invoices, payment methods, tax details, refunds, and billing portals may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider. Your use of those payment features may also be subject to the payment provider's terms and privacy policy. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, fees are charged in advance and are not refundable except where required by law or where we choose to provide a credit or refund.
We may change pricing, limits, plan names, included features, or billing periods. If a change materially affects an active paid plan, we will try to provide reasonable notice through the service, by email, or on the pricing page. You are responsible for cancelling a paid plan before renewal if you no longer want to be charged.
7. Availability, retention, and data loss
We aim to keep Microsite available, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, bugs, browser changes, network issues, Cloudflare services, storage systems, queues, video processing, payment services, email providers, security controls, or other dependencies. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage.
Uploads and shared links may expire, be deleted, become unavailable, or be removed according to plan limits, retention settings, abuse handling, account status, storage policies, or technical constraints. You should keep your own copies of important source files, exported assets, business records, contracts, and client deliverables.
8. Analytics, advertising, and communications
Microsite may collect analytics about page views, clicks, watches, downloads, lead forms, comments, reactions, replies, referrals, and account activity. These analytics are intended to help owners understand engagement and improve the service, but they may be approximate and should not be treated as a formal audit log, legal record, financial report, or guaranteed measurement.
We may display Google-served advertising or use advertising scripts on eligible public content pages. You must not click your own ads, encourage others to click ads, place misleading labels around ads, or use Microsite in a way that artificially inflates ad impressions, clicks, or revenue. Advertising availability and behaviour may depend on Google approval, consent settings, region, page content, and publisher policy compliance.
We may send service emails such as login codes, account notices, share notifications, team invitations, billing notices, operational updates, security notices, lifecycle emails, and messages required to provide the service. Marketing or optional emails may include unsubscribe or preference controls where required.
9. Third-party services
Microsite uses third-party infrastructure and services to operate the product. These may include Cloudflare for hosting, storage, queues, security, video delivery, workers, email, and AI features; Stripe for payments; Google services for analytics, advertising, fonts, indexing, or measurement; and other providers used for media, security, email, support, or product operations.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limits, abuse rules, regional restrictions, and technical requirements. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy decisions, crawler behaviour, ad approvals, payment declines, email delivery issues, browser restrictions, or platform changes outside our control.
10. Intellectual property
Microsite, including its interface, templates, product design, code, branding, workflows, documentation, and platform features, is owned by us or our licensors. You may use the service as permitted by these terms, but you do not receive ownership of Microsite itself.
You must not copy, resell, frame, white-label, clone, or commercially exploit the service except through normal use of your own shared links and account features, unless we agree in writing.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Microsite, you acknowledge that content, account information, analytics events, cookies, technical logs, payment metadata, and communications may be processed as described there.
12. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory warranty, or other right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Microsite is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for loss of data, lost opportunities, reputational harm, client disputes, ad revenue changes, search ranking changes, crawler behaviour, or business interruption arising from use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service, paying the cost of resupply, or the amount you paid for the affected service during the period giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your account activity, your breach of these terms, your infringement of another person's rights, your misuse of the service, or your failure to obtain required permissions, consents, licences, or authorisations.
14. Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the product, laws, infrastructure, plans, or policies change. If a change is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice through the service, by email, or by updating this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
You may stop using Microsite at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk, fail to pay fees, abuse the service, or use the product in a way that is not compatible with its intended operation.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in New South Wales may hear disputes, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer or privacy law.
16. Contact
For support, abuse, copyright, privacy, or legal concerns, contact abuse@microsite.com.au. Include enough detail for us to identify the account, shared link, uploaded file, page, transaction, or event you are asking about.
